Curriculum
Grade 1 Through O-Level & IGCSE
A single, structured pathway — not a shelf of disconnected courses. Every stage builds directly on the last, with STEM subjects at the core and strong literacy and humanities alongside them.
Grade 1–3
Ages 5–8
Foundations
Building number sense, phonics and reading fluency, and first hands-on encounters with science and computational thinking — mostly through games, stories and simple experiments.
Core focus: Numeracy · Literacy · Introduction to Science · Pattern & Logic
Grade 4–6
Ages 8–11
Explorers
Maths and science become more structured, with an introduction to block-based and text-based coding. Students begin short independent projects and start building research and writing skills.
Core focus: Mathematics · Science · Introductory Coding · English · Humanities
Grade 7–9
Ages 11–14
Builders
Subjects split into distinct sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), maths deepens into algebra and geometry, and students take on engineering-style design projects and more advanced programming.
Core focus: Biology · Chemistry · Physics · Algebra & Geometry · Computing · Design & Engineering
O-Level / IGCSE
Ages 14–16
Achievers
Exam-focused preparation aligned to Cambridge and Edexcel O-Level and IGCSE syllabuses, with past-paper practice, mock exams, and targeted revision in the run-up to exam season.
Core focus: Mathematics · Sciences · Computer Science · English Language & Literature · Elective subjects
How Exams Work
We teach directly to the Cambridge and Edexcel O-Level and IGCSE syllabuses, with dedicated exam preparation, past-paper practice, and mock exams built into the final stage of the curriculum. STEM Schooling is not itself an exam centre — students sit their official O-Level and IGCSE exams through an approved external examination centre, and our academic team helps families arrange this well ahead of exam season.
Our Subjects, In Depth
Mathematics
From number sense to algebra, geometry, statistics and calculus foundations — taught with real-world applications, not just formulas.
Science
Integrated science in the early years, splitting into Biology, Chemistry and Physics for older students, with practical experiments throughout.
Computing & Coding
From block-based coding to Python and computer science fundamentals — algorithmic thinking as a core literacy, not an elective extra.
Engineering & Design
Project-based design challenges that apply maths and science to build, test and iterate on real solutions.
English & Communication
Reading, writing and spoken communication skills built alongside the STEM subjects — because scientists and engineers need to explain their work too.
Humanities
History, geography and social studies rounding out a well-balanced education alongside our STEM core.
